Today, Max's Grandma read a book to us called "The Class at Sea." She even brought Max's Grandpa and cupcakes too!

Pajama Day!

Today we got to wear our pajamas to school for earning all of our Brownie Points!

Here are the kids who received our warm wishes goodie bags! It was so wonderful to see the smiles on their faces when they opened up the bags. They told us to give every student in our class a big hug and THANK YOU!

On Tuesday Connor read his favorite book called "No David." It was really funny. His mom even made a book about him that we read to the class.

Today Ryan's Grandma came in and read to us The Josefina Story Quilt. She even brought in some of the beautiful quilts she makes with her Quilt Guild. Check it out!

Winter Party

Happy New Year!

Welcome Back! It was so great to see all of the kids today and hear about their wonderful vacations. It's always hard to get back into the swing of things after a long break, so I apologize if information is delayed!
This week we will:
Begin Unit 5 in math which focuses on place value.

Begin our new social studies unit which focuses on maps. During this unit we will be answering the following question: How do maps help us and what are the different kinds of maps.

Winter Party for the needy will be rescheduled for this Thursday at 2:15 p.m. We will also continue with our book exchange. If you haven't already done so, please send in a wrapped new or gently used book that your child can give away.

Parent Volunteer Schedule: I will get this out to you via email by the end of the week.
