The Beverly PTA would like to inform you of a decision that we have made in regards to the school supply kit order form you recently received.
Due to the high cost of most of the kit orders, and the economic times we are in, we would like to offer another option.
We are asking that the teachers post their suggested supply list on their website so you can begin to make your purchases early, rather then wait until packet pick-up.
We want you to know that the supply order kits will still be available to purchase as well. This is not a fundraiser for the PTA, only a service to the parents. But at these prices we feel the need to step back from these kits.
Thank you for your understanding and sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
We would also like to invite you to our last PTA meeting Tuesday, May 12th at 7pm. Our speaker will be Sherry Davenport discussing the MEAP results and how to read them.
Thank you,
Beverly PTA

Hosting a student Book Swap
Any student who would like to donate a used book will then be able to swap
for a book of their interest to take home. Students can donate a single book or up to a maximum of five books. Each book donated will also earn the student a ticket for our Earth Week celebratory raffle to be held on Friday, April 24th. The raffle will consist of $5 gift cards to Target donated by the Earthwise committee.
Student book donations will be collected in the morning of Thursday, April 23rd in the front lobby. The books will then be sorted, organized and displayed in a fashion to support different reading levels and interests. Participating students will be invited to select their swap books on Friday, April 24th . We hope that each child will donate at least one used book they have read this year in order to participate. By participating
in Earth Week activities, we encourage students to make a difference in their school, home and community. Any books that are left over will be used first to help build and restock Beverly teacher's classroom libraries, with the remainder donated to Focus: Hope of Detroit. Thank you for your support, Beverly staff and students will benefit immensely through your efforts.
