Conferences: Please be sure to sign up for a conference time. The sign up sheets are in the main lobby. Conferences are Wednesday, November 12 from 5-8, and Thursday, November 13, from 1-4 and 5-8 p.m.
Election Day: Today we learned all about the election tomorrow. Look for the work your child did tonight in their homework folder.
Math: Your child has three homelink assignments tonight. First, they will need to complete homelink 3.7 and then do homelink 3.8 which is two pages.
Field Trip: Just a reminder that our field trip to McDonald's is this Thursday, at 11:15. If you have volunteered to join us please come to our classroom around 11:10. Your child will need to wear his/her class t-shirt on that day along with a pair of comfortable shoes.

- I have been teaching for four years. This is my fifth year teaching and my second year teaching first grade at Beverly Elementary School. I graduated from Michigan State Univeresity in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. I recieved my teaching certificate and Masters in Education from Wayne State University. I have one younger brother who lives in Chicago and two wonderful parents who are also teachers! I was just recently married this summer to my wondeful husband Mark. Mark is currently in law school. We have one dog named Scout and one cat named Feral. We love traveling and being active. I hope you enjoy my classroom web site!
